Sexy vixen Kate Beckinsale stepped out at Conde Nast Traveler Hot List Party in Las Vegas on Saturday looking svelte while surrounded by fans and photogs. But the 36-year-old mom and supermodel admits she hasn't always felt like the Belle of the Ball. Beckinsale says she's overcome diet and body image fears that once plagued her to stop eating all together.
"I got to the stage where I think I was about to die. I had no energy and my main goal was to be able to stand up," Beckinsale revealed to The Daily Mail. "Finally I realized I had to choose between being a person or a professional anorexic," she added.

The 36-year-old Underworld star and mother of one says she now keeps her diet under wraps with portion control. Beckinsale also admits turning to sweet treats makes overall dieting easier, but she has to have limits since going to the gym is not her forte.
“I just can’t make it part of my daily life,” Kate said to Elle UK about her workouts. “I go to the gym when I have to, and if I have to bulk up or slim down for a film, I will," she aid. Adding, she's recently gotten better about making it to the gym at least four times a week.
“I’ve recently got back into exercising four times a week. I run for half an hour at a time but never outdoors, as I don’t exercise in public,” she added. “My gym’s in my garage at home.”
In addition to keeping workouts working with her schedule Beckinsale also works with trainer Ramona Braganza - Maker of the "Baby Bulge Be Gone" diet. Celebrities like Halle Berry, Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel all turn to Ramona to stay fit. His number one tip to looking great? Guzzle water.
"The key is to drink six to eight glasses of water a day," Braganza said in a past interview. "And restrict the consumption of tea, sugary or fizzy drinks and juices."

It is so nice to have celebrities talk about their struggles and ultimately choosing to be healthy and normal with food. Eating disorders are rampant, and people need to know ultra-skinny is not realistic.
