Celeb news never dies and the stories of celebrity singer Jessica Simpson's weight gain is evidence to prove it. In a recent FOX NFL Cowboys skit cartoon, Jessica Simpson remains the butt of fat jokes in the animated Cowboys locker room.
During FOX's weekly show, Fox NFL Sunday, this week the show aired the cartoon, sponsored by Burger King and despite Simpson's slim down, the star still fell prey to old news.
With Tony MIA from the cartoon's locker room in the beginning, the cartoon figures being to poke fun at Simpson for "blowing up".
Cowboys pistol starter Marion Barber says in the skit, "Man, I still can’t believe Tony dated Jessica Simpson, even AFTER she blew up bigger than Flozell Adams!"
Panning to an offended Flozell Adams, the cartoon comes back to the locker room for more fun.
Tight end Jason Witten chimes in with mockery, saying, "Unlike Tony, at least Jessica comes up big when it counts!"
And while the tape previews a clip of Tony's big slip in a past game, the jokes about Jessica's waist line still keep coming.
Coach Wade Phillips even played a part in closing, saying, "Say Tony, is Jessica around? We could use a defensive tackle!"
Burger King hasn't commented on the tape yet and while it's left to be determined, the aired skit could quite possibly be the worst marketing ever.
After all, am I supposed to run out and grab a 1K+ calorie meal after hearing about how Jessica Simpson was poked at? I think not.
It's only perfect to enter here Kelly Clarkson's quote about the singer's weight gain. Of the star's alleged "extreme" weight gain earlier this year, Clarkson said, "The day Jessica Simpson becomes fat is the day I’m a size zero."

It is fair. She's a celebrity and if she gets fat that's just what she gets
I AM IN ABSOLUTE DISMAY the press continue to bring up issues of her weight. That was in February and it's so long ago. Hello?! They aren't event dating. I feel so bad for her and can only imagine the drama this has caused her emotions!!
