Before Megan Fox was touted as the "next Angelina Jolie" there was actress Camilla Belle. While she's traded some Hollywood spotlight for a focus on Brazilian TV and movies, Belle was still honored and present at the "Third Annual Women in Film Pre-Oscars" party on Thursday night.
The 23-year-old When a Stranger Calls actress shined in a skinny frame - thanks to Hatha yoga and "lots of protein" in her diet.
"It keeps me on track," Camilla Belle said in a recent interview of her infatuation with yoga. "Work can get really hectic sometimes. It's nice to be able to tune out and get relaxed."
Last night alone, Camilla made two guest appearances at pre-Oscar parties. In addition to the Women in Film affair in Bel-Air, Camilla also popped into party #2 for the evening - The 3rd Annual Pre-Oscar Hollywood Domino Gala. For both events, Belle was hurried around through a costume change going au naturale for the first gig and following up at the gala with full-on glam.
For Camilla, who usually does her own stunts, she's quick to take up on-the-fly scenes, like when she filmed Push in early 2009 or her hit, horror flick When A Stranger Calls. While she's performed intense pre-filming training to live up to her high-action roles, when it comes to daily routine, Belle says she'd rather be long and lean versus bulky with muscles.
"I try to keep up the push-ups and some weights here and there," Belle said in a past radio interview. "But definitely not as rigorous as I was."
Other stars in attendance at the red-carpet "Women in Film" event include former Miss USA and "Doritos" girl Ali Landry, Angie Harmon, Precious star Gabourey Sidibe, Glee actress Jayma Mays, Mena Suvari, Nancy O'Dell and Twilight's Rachelle LeFevre.
