Lady Gaga has made herself famous by wearing costumes as everyday wear. From a plastic bubble dress to a flaming bra, Gaga has shocked her audiences with unexpected pieces of extreme outerwear. She claims brazenly than her lifestyle is about vanity and over consumption and consequently her fashion deserves to be just as outrageous as she is.
Her most recent ensemble on a German TV show followed in typical Gaga fashion as the starlet sported a jacket made entirely of Kermit the Frogs... err well, Muppets. Is Muppet the new faux fur? Green the new black? What goes on in Gaga's mind when deciding on what to wear in the morning?
The 23-year-old singer says it's all about the love of art and the art of performance:
“I dress this way because my whole life is art, and my whole life is performance”. To dress like [Gaga] “All you need is a good idea and creativity”.
This is not the first time Lady Gaga has sported a Muppet. Gaga also donned a strange skirt that is really nothing more than the head of Animal, the drummer on The Muppet Show's Muppet rock band, Electric Mayhem.
Muppet fans beware, it looks as though your beloved characters are under attack in the name of fashion, Gaga style.

Disturbing at best--I am a huge fan of The Muppet Show in the 80s and even now--I have some episodes on DVD--As far as I am concerned they (Muppets) are being exploited in order to gain attention from a performer who lacks the creativity needed to sustain a career in pop culture--So glad you are writing again Kristen!
I know! I am/was a huge fan of The Muppet Show as well and I do see your point. Thank you for the support, I have not been writing as much as I would like lately. I am going to change that*
