Gordon Ramsay, host of Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares and The F-Word, is saucing things up for charity. The chef, t.v. host and all around bad boy of the cooking world has launched a new sauce line called Seriously Good which will help to raise funds for Comic Relief.
10 percent of each bottle of Seriously Good Sauce will be donated directly to Comic Relief with none of the money going into Gordon Ramsay's pockets.
Ramsay had to this to say about the project, "I’ve seen first hand the difference money raised through Comic Relief can make, which inspired me to get involved. We’ve created a range inspired by the Mediterranean using only top quality ingredients. We’ve combined them in an inventive and exciting way to produce rich, intense flavours that you’ll love. As you know, I don’t do anything by halves but don’t take my word for it – just put one into your trolley and you’ll be helping Comic Relief."
Seriously Good Sauce by Gordon Ramsay will be available in supermarkets in the UK and it won't be long before they are availabe in the United States. Seriously Good Sauce will come with a suggested retail price of £1.89.
Five sauces were designed by Gordon Ramsay and his team of chefs to make this project possible. Each ingredient including 12 year aged balsamic vinegar and oven roasted cherry tomatoes were selected by Ramsay to produce the rich, flavourful sauces.
The flavors available are Cherry Tomato & Balsamic, Cherry Tomato & Mascarpone, Tomato Black Olive & Mixed Herb, Bolognese & Red Wine and Spice Red Pepper & Spianata Sausage. A list of recipe ideas for each sauce can be found on the Seriously Good website.
Comic Relief's goal and mission is to bring "positive change through the power of entertainment". The vision of Comic Relief is to see "a just world free from poverty".
Other charities that Hell's Kitchen host, Gordon Ramsay, supports are the Scottish Spina Bifida Association, Women's Aid and Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO).

He is so fun to watch! Beyond his mean exterior, you can tell he is a softie.
Jenny-- He's fun to watch, but hell to work for-- that that it keeps me from watching. ;) Comic Relief is an excellent charity, by the way. Can't wait til his sauces make it to the States.
£1.89 and only 10p goes to comic relief?
