What Celebs are in Room 23?
Diana Jenkins, philanthropist and humanitarian, is presenting a new book that will be available in the U.S. on September 8, 2009. Room 23, shows an intimate glimpse into the world of the rich and famous as they spend a day in a beautiful penthouse suite.
Room 23 features over 100 celebrities photographed by Deborah Anderson. Proceeds from the book will support several programs under the Sanela Diana Jenkins International Human Rights Project.
Diana Jenkin's founded the program after seeing the violence of the Bosnian-Serbian War first hand. Born and raised in Sarajevo, Jenkins has witnessed the horrors of war. The foundation supports advancing human rights, stopping war crimes and bringing war criminals to justice.
All of the photographs in Room 23 are taken by Deborah Anderson. She depicts her celebrity subjects with grace and sensuality. Some of the photos that appear in Room 23 can be seen online in the Room 23 Gallery. Over 100 celebrities were photographed for Room 23. George Clooney, Cindy Crawford, Heidi Klum, Elton John, Kid Rock and Dennis Hopper are just a few of the stars gracing the pages.
Cindy Crawford is featured in several photographs and also appears on the cover of Room 23. Her cover shot is a sensual photograph depicting Cindy Crawford looking wistfully away from the camera wrapped in a white sheet. Crawford's writing can be found in the beginning of Room 23 in the form of a dedication.
Anderson's photographs show the celebrities in a light seldom seen out of the celebrity spotlight. Some of the photos to look forward to are Minnie Driver sneaking a snack, Tamara Mellon in a bathtub with Christian Slater dozing over the edge, Kid Rock lounging with his dog, Marissa Miller blowing bubbles off her hand while rising from a bubble bath and Ed McCormack in an intimate moment shaving.
Room 23 will be available at all major book retailers in the U.S. on September 8, 2009. Price for the star studded book will cost $99. Not a bad price with proceeds going to Human Rights advocacy and being able to bring the celebs right into your living room.
Other stars you can look forward to seeing in Room 23 include Ludacris, Ashanti, Cheryl Tiegs, Donald Sutherland, James Blunt, Brett Ratner and Vidal Sassoon, just to name a few.

I always hate watching the rich and famous I can always think of other things to do with the money. Guess I am just jealous of them.
I'm the opposite of CJ. I'm embarrassed to admit I like looking at celeb photos, especially candid ones. It's a glimpse into a different world.
The book actually sounds pretty interesting. And the proceeds go to a good cause so I may pick it up.
Sounds like a beautiful coffee table book.
