Local rock station 97.9x for Wilkes-Barre, Pa is hosting an auction this week that is for a great cause. The rock station went searching its vaults and found a bunch of rock memorabilia and decided to put it up for auction on their website. Some of the items include signed posters, shirts, guitars, lessons and much more. All proceeds from the auction are being donated by 97.9x to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Easter, PA chapter.
Celebrity rock star memorabilia such as Three Days Grace posters, a Flyleaf guitar, an autographed Disturbed poster, autographed Godsmack poster and t-shirt and stuff from other bands (Saliva, Sevendust, Tool, Hollywood Undead, Black Stone Cherry, Seether, Nickelback, etc.) are all up for auction from 97.9x.
Some items have already started being auctioned off but many are coming up through out the month. When one auction ends, a new one will start with more cool rock memorabilia being listed. You can view the auctions that are open as well as the auctions which are coming up by visiting the 97.9x website and typing in the keyword "auction" in the website's search engine.
This is a great chance for you to own a piece of rock history and donate to charity at the same time. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has been fighting blood cancers since 1949 by using research, support and information to search for cures and improve the lives of those affected by blood cancer diseases.
