Though most readers' correspondences received are positive, there are of course, a few negative. Recently, a fellow astrology professional wrote in suggesting that those who invest time in writing birth charts for “worthless Hollywood celebrities” were breaking an astrological moral oath.
Though you might not be aware, celebrities are a reflection of us. Unfortunately, our media networks are masters at negative exploitation. This approach has successfully attracted public attention over the years. As a result, our society as a whole thrives upon Brittney Spears panty-less party shot as opposed to the lack of announcement that George Clooney once again has made great strides in resolving the crisis in Darfur.
While a good number of our influential population may move forward on their own paths through trial and error such as Britney Spears appears to have done from time to time, the rest would be fortunate and wise to follow along their own paths as some other celebrities in the limelight have.
Celebrities are amongst the first to make substantial contributions to causes that fight world hunger and aid in curing diseases. They are also amongst the first to respond and substantially provide aid when natural disasters strike, such as the Indian Ocean Tsunami and Hurricane Katrina. Aside from monetary contributions, countless celebrities volunteer their personal time to assist with the less fortunate. They adopt from societies where children would not otherwise be privileged to an education, medical care or healthy sustenance. On the note of sustenance, where celebrities can afford a truffle-seared filet mignon on their plates each night, many elect instead vegetarian diets for the sake of ethics or global conservation.
Our society can thank not only our lucky celestial stars, but also our lucky celebrity stars who strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Thanks to the media and those who buy into the negative reporting, it is no wonder why there are individuals out there who perceive celebrities as “worthless”. To report on celebrities astrologically provides readers an insight beyond what is shamefully broadcasted and accepted as fact. By reading celebrity charts, we are reading in between the lines – refusing to judge books by their covers.
