If you did not watch 'The Celebrity Apprentice' you may want to stop reading! Spoiler Alert... The first celebrity to leave the boardroom is Carol Leifer.
The first task was to run a diner in New York City. The team managers were picked by opposing teams. The men (RockSolid) picked Cyndi Lauper to be the project manager for the women, and the women (Tenacity) picked Bret Michaels to be the project manager for the men.
Donald Trump commented that he liked the women's name 'Tenacity' better than 'Rock Solid'.
Both teams started to plan right away, RockSolid had Chef Curtis Stone on their team and he took over the task, and did what he does best. Daryl Strawberry (being from NY) picked up his phone right away and started making calls to get high rollers in to donate money to his team.
Trump called last years winner, Joan Rivers, to go and check out each team. Tenacity was the team that Rivers liked and they earned an extra $10,000 for their team. Still not enough to win the task for them.
RockSolid raised $57,905 for their team and Tenacity raised $39,559. RockSolid won the task and raised $100,000 for Bret Michaels charity, American Diabetes Association.
RockSolid won the project, so Tenacity headed for the boardroom. Cyndi Lauper, as project manager, had to pick two other people to join her in the boardroom. She couldn't decide who to take, so Donald took it into his own hands and told Carol Leifer "You're Fired!!!"
