Sickness setting the Cavs back

The Cavs are one sick team.

For real.

A nasty flu bug has hit the entire Cavaliers team, including superstar LeBron James.  The Cavs star forward was on the practice court Thursday in Independence, but admitted that it's been a tough couple of days trying to fight the flu bug.

Thursday the team sent out an email with a rather long list of players that are either sick or are not going to be with the team when they take on the Spurs Friday night.

Here's the list the team sent out:

Andre Barrett – Flu-like Symptoms – OUT – Will not travel

Daniel Gibson – Bruised Tail Bone - QUESTIONABLE

Danny Green – Right Glute Contusion – OUT

JJ Hickson – Flu-like symptoms – OUT – Will not travel

Darnell Jackson – Flu-like Symptoms – PROBABLE

LeBron James – Flu-like Symptoms – PROBABLE

Coby Karl – Flu-like Symptoms – PROBABLE

Leon Powe – Left Knee Surgery – OUT

Anderson Varejao – Left Wrist Contusion - QUESTIONABLE

Jawad Williams – Flu-like Symptoms – PROBABLE

Mo Williams – Sore Right Groin - Questionable

“If it’s going to happen, now is the best time,” James said. “I don’t wish anyone to be sick. I wish great health for everyone. But if this is the time the flu bug is going to hit our team, I’m glad it’s happening now.”

On a good note, Delonte West traveled with the team to San Antonio, meaning maybe some of his issues are behind him, and hopefully he'll take the court on Friday night.
