Maybe you’ve been thinking of adopting a cat and want to learn as much as possible about cat care before you commit. Maybe you’ve had a cat for a few weeks or months and you have a few questions about your furry critter. Or maybe you’ve had cats for 20 years and sometimes they still leave you flummoxed. If you’re in Montgomery County, you’re in luck, because this Thursday evening you can bring your questions to the Germantown Library, where a local cat specialist will conduct Cat Care 101.

Cat Care 101 is sponsored by the Feline Focus Committee of the Montgomery County Humane Society and features Dr. Dale Rubenstein, the county’s only board-certified feline practitioner. Dr. Rubenstein, who practices at A Cat Clinic, will share her expertise gained through years of working with cats and the people who live with them. Light refreshments will also be served.

When and where: Cat Care 101 takes place Thursday, October 22, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Germantown Public Library. The library is located at 19840 Century Boulevard.
