Archbishop Chaput has written two books: Living the Catholic Faith: Rediscovering the Basics and Render Unto Caesar, in which he informs and encourages Catholics to deepen their commitment to Catholic teaching on abortion, death penalty, immigration, poverty, social justice, and to carry their faith-rooted convictions into the voting booth. Archbishop Chaput is revered by lay faithful nationally for his spiritual direction through his periodic addresses to the lay faithful regarding our confusing times and what we, as Catholics, need to be aware of regarding Church teaching. Additionally, Archbishop Chaput shepherds lay faithful through newspaper articles.

Your emcee for the evening is Patrick Madrid, publisher and editor of the Envoy Magazine. Mr. Madrid is the author or editor of 14 books and booklets on Catholic themes including, Pope Fiction, Search and Rescue, Does the Bible Really Say That?, and 150 Bible Verses Every Catholic Should Know. He edited and co-authored the acclaimed multi-volume Surprised by Truth series. Patrick serves on the board of trustees of the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in Berkeley, CA, and on the board of directors of St. Gabriel Catholic Radio, in Columbus, Ohio. He is a regular presenter at Franciscan University of Steubenville’s “Defending the Faith” summer apologetics conferences, and much more.
Special guests for the evening are George Weigel, Joseph Bottum, Father John Corapi, and Carl Anderson.
Mr. Weigel authored the book The Courage to Be Catholic and Witness to Hope and is a distinguished senior fellow of Washington’s Ethics and Public Policy Center, where he holds the William E. Simon Chair in Catholic Studies. Mr. Weigel is also on the editorial advisory board as well as on the finance committee for First Things Magazine.
Mr. Bottum is publisher and editor of First Things Magazine which is published by The Institute on Religion and Public Life, an interreligious, nonpartisan research and education institute whose purpose is to advance a religiously informed public philosophy for the ordering of society.
Father John Corapi will be a special guest by video. Father is a perpetually professed priest member of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity. Father Corapi's audio and video series on the Catechism of the Catholic Church entitled The Teaching of Jesus Christ has been widely acclaimed and is used throughout the world as a course in religious education and catechesis.
And, also special guest by video is Mr. Carl Anderson, Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus. As supreme knight of the Knights of Columbus, Carl A. Anderson is the chief executive officer and chairman of the board of the world’s largest Catholic family fraternal service organization, which has more than 1.7 million members. Mr. Anderson is the author of A Civilization of Love: What Every Catholic Can Do To Transform The World; co-author (with Msgr. Eduardo Chávez) of Our Lady of Guadalupe: Mother of the Civilization of Love.
