Interesting situation at soon to open Pope John Paul II High School in Greenville, NC.
The Diocese of Raleigh has authorized that a non-Catholic be this "Catholic" school's first site director/administrator.
According to Greenville's The Daily Reflector, Though not Catholic himself, Joyner said his situation underscores the school's openness to all faiths. While there will be religious classes, Joyner said this will be a great high school for any student.
This reminds me of a certain quote from the late Alice Thomas Ellis, that could easily apply to the Diocese of Raleigh purposefully hiring a non-Catholic who is allegedly going to ensure that Catholic schoolchildren receive a Catholic education;
"But look what he did for the ecumenical movement," his friends cry. "And look what he did to the Church," we respond....Ecumenism seems to mean taking something pure and strong, mixing it up with something weak and polluted, slashing it about, watching the churches empty and then congratulating yourself on your progress.

Religion has become like a crack that runs across the windshield.
You start paying more attention to the progressing part that divides and divides again. "Runs", you know.
The point of impact becomes forgotten.

Next up... Are the Jews going to hire a Muslim to be the director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta?
X,
To a moral relativist/anarchist, I'm sure any moral absolute would be deemed an abomination.
