Commentary
In an article from the Catholic News Agency, one of the lead writers for the notoriously anti-Catholic National Catholic Reporter, quotes Chicago's Francis Cardinal George bemoaning confusion in America's Catholics due to rebellious and heretical factions within The Church establishing, as the good Cardinal puts it, a "parallel magisterium".
But for years, Cardinal George has been a veritable Tower of Jello against rebellious and heretical factions within his own Archdiocese.
Where was Cdl. George when that Jesse Jackson wannabe, "Father" Pfleger race baited White people everywhere? He gave him a two-week vacation.
Where was Cdl. George when the Apostolic Visitation hit America to root out perverts from the seminaries? He was worried that Sodomites might be offended.
Where was Cdl. George when it came to standing up to the most pro-abortion President ever? He sent him a letter.
Where was Cdl. George when Presider Pfleger stated "I don't need the Pope"? He awarded him the Archdiocese of Chicago's "Office for Racial Justice Lifetime Achievement Award".
Where was Cdl. George when it came to using the English language correctly and referring to liberals as just that -- liberals? He gave us syrupy sweet double-talk about "moving beyond" being honest.
And in regards to the "parallel magisterium" that Cdl. George wrings his hands over? When the most pro-abortion president ever signed into law the abortion protecting "health care bill", all the good Cardinal could say was, "We are apprehensive as we look to the future." Wow... 'apprehensive". I'm underwhelmed.
Pardon me if I don't take Cardinal George all that serious.
And if he wants to know why there are so many openly rebellious so-called "Catholics" that could really give a Tinker's Damn less what the Church really teaches, he need go no further than the mirror to see who has been enabling their ilk for decades.
With shepherds like Cardinal George, who needs wolves?

I for one am sick and tired of seeing Holy Mother the Church raped on a daily basis. Obviously, you aren't.

That was real easy for you wasn't it? Come the internet read an article that assailed your view of the universe and call the writer sick and hateful, then suggest he take the log from his eye so to speak.
What you should have done is provide substanative rebuttle. If you really want to know what is sick and hateful you can look at the 50 year attack on the Church in the US. We all know that the Church will prevail anyway. The liberal establishment within the Church is dying off, they know that they are about to lose all they have planned for years because the younger priests, religious, and faithful have found thier way back to Tradition.
The current push of liberalism is nothing more than the last loud cry of a dying and putrid falseness that was dead before it started. What is even more dangerous for you is that as people near the end of their time on earth they tend to become a lot more repentant. Good Article.
