Ramon is a professor of philosophy and religious studies. His interest in Catholic social teachings has led him to work with the Office of Justice and Peace Commission of the Catholic Archdiocese of LA and the Environmental Sustainability Committee for the LACCD, and to participate in the U.N. Commission on Sustainable Development.
