Nine Lives Foundation in Redwood City is holding a special Valentine’s Day Open House this Friday, February 12. The shelter will be showing off its new play cages for the kitties. Enjoy tasty treats and bubbly drinks and meet all the dedicated folks who support the organization.

Give Me Shelter Book Signing with Award-Winning Author, Sunday, Feb. 14
Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue features a book signing with Rosie Sorenson, author of “They Had Me at Meow: Tails of Love from the Homeless Cats of Buster Hollow.” The book is a collection of photos and funny poignant stories about how Sorenson's relationship with the cats had a life-changing impact on her. The book for which Sorenson won a Muse Medallion Award from the Cat Writer’s Association conveys the important message that every animal regardless of its circumstances is remarkable and deserving of love. A portion of all book sales go to GMS.
