Debra is a Louisiana native who lives in New Orleans with a background in the medical field of over 20 years. She is very passionate about feral cats and began her interest and work rescuing feral cats after Hurricane Katrina due to many cats that were abandoned during and after the storm. She belongs to Alley Cat Allies and the LA/SPCA.
