Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood; hosts of the 43rd Annual CMA Awards
Mega country stars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will be teaming up once again to celebrate “country music's biggest night” by hosting the '43rd Annual CMA Awards'. This won't be the first time the reigning CMA male and female vocalists of the year have paired up; they were also last year's CMA hosts, and In 2006 the two toured together.
"I am thrilled to get the chance to co-host the CMAs for a second time with my pal Carrie," said Paisley. "This year we'll pull out all the stops, like a miniature poodle balancing act, tightrope walking, and a new world record for the number of costume changes by my co-host. Don't miss it!"
"I regret to inform Brad that I do not have a poodle, and I would appreciate it if he asks me permission before he tries on all my dresses this year," said Underwood. "But all kidding aside, I'm really excited to be hosting again this year with my friend, Brad, as we celebrate another wonderful year of Country Music! It's going to be a great show!"
Underwood herself has had a great time these past three years at the CMA awards as she has been winning the prestigious Female Vocalist of the year title since 2006. The multi- platinum selling 26-year-old has a total of five CMA awards.
Just a few days before performing her hosting duties at the CMA's this fall, Underwood will be releasing her third album on Nov. 3, which if is anything like her first two albums, will most likely add a few more CMA awards to the former American Idol's awards mantel.
Underwood is currently featured with Paisley in his ballad "Oh Love".
You can see the two host the 43rd Annual CMA Awards on Nov.11 at 8PM Et on ABC live from the Sommet Center in Nashville.
