He started his career in government enforcing non-discrimination laws and administering unemployment compensation. He moved on to serving as a recruiter, a human resources representative, and HR executive in small, local companies as well as Fortune 500 companies. Throughout his career, he has applied his knowledge gained through practical experience and advanced college degrees. He has also been a professor of business in a state college and community college teaching such courses as Introduction to Business, Management, and Small Business Management. He is currently certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and serving as chairman of the board of a non-profit organization.
