An album release from Fox's Glee is set to coincide with the airing of an upcoming episode that will feature popular tunes by Madonna.
The Glee discussion panel at last week's "Paley Festival" confirmed that an upcoming tribute episode, airing on April 20, will spotlight hits by the famous "Material Girl."
Ryan Murphy, co-creator and Executive Producer for the show told the standing-room-only crowd at "Paley Fest," "She [Madonna], in many ways, has been the soundtrack of my life."
This week, Amazon.com began taking pre-orders for the Madonna, cover album
According to Ryan Murphy, the original plan was to include 10 tracks from the show.
The $7.99 pre-order album at Amazon only lists 7 tracks.
Tracks appearing on the album include:
1. "Express Yourself"
2. "Borderline" / "Open Your Heart"
3. "Vogue"
4. "Like a Virgin"
5. "4 Minutes"
6. "What It Feels Like for a Girl"
7. "Like a Prayer"
Did you know? Glee cast members will begin a concert tour starting in May. Concerts locations include Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago, and New York. (See slideshow for photos)
