I really was surprised that Seth Aaron won the prize. Emilio has demonstrated that he has the most talent of everyone throughout the entire year. The only thing that he made the entire year that I didn't like was the hardware swimsuit.
Ditto!
Emilio's collection was by far the strongest when compared to Mila and Seth Aaron. I want to find out who will be carrying his line as I need to buy that red dress! The judges keep changing their minds on what they are looking for each year. last year they claimed they were judging based on the entire season of work plus the final challenge. This year, that conveniently went through the window. How on earth could all of the riotous color that Emilio showed be called "quiet"!!? It's not that the other two were not good. I actually liked many of both Mila and SA's pieces. Emelio is just better. His colection was beautiful AND innovative AND colorful AND wearable. Something that none of the other designers collections were! He should have won!
it is truly upsetting to see Emilio "robbed" of his prize-anyony who has watched the show this entire season knows this is true-oh well this proves the point that people of color have to be 10 times better to win the prize
I agree with Dorian. I will go further to say that a person of color will never win Project Runway. That''s unfortunate.
I agree with all the above written comments. I liked some of Seth Aaron's designs, but truly Emilio was the best of the season. I hope he finds supporters to launch his designs. He's really great!!
They all designed beautifully. That is why they were on the show. However, it was a FASHION SHOW. "SHOW" being the strong word here. It wasn't a "WHO CAN DESIGN THE BEST CLOTHES TO SELL IN ANY STORE ON THE RACK". If that was the case then yes, Emilio should have won, because he did just that. He should have stuck with all his innovative ideas that he had throughout the whole season. Not to worry. All the designers that made it to Bryant Park will be big. Emilio is EXTREMELY talented and will be just fine.
