Bravo has declared September 15, 2010 'Top Chef Just Desserts Day,' according to a September 7, 2010 press release. This sweet event will offer free desserts through various outlets across the country in honor of the premiere of Bravo's sweetest new series, “Top Chef Just Desserts." The new series will premiere on Wednesday, September 15 (11:00 - 12:00 p.m. ET) and resumes on Wednesday, September 22 (10:00 - 11:00 p.m. ET).
There will be desserts available through local bakeries and retailers in 20 markets across the country. There will be Top Chef Just Desserts trucks offering sweet treats in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. Diners who make reservations through Open Table on September 15 may be able to find one of 800 restaurants offering free dessert.
In order to find the locations of the free desserts consumers will have to access social media through Twitter and Facebook. Locations will be announced the morning of September 15.
Consumers will be able to sample free desserts at local participating bakeries and retailers, from "Top Chef Just Desserts" branded trucks in certain cities and through a special partnership with Opentable.com. The twist is that all times and locations will be announced only via Twitter @ BravoTV – and Facebook/topchef -s on the morning of September 15th.
"Top Chef Just Desserts Day" will be produced by Grand Central Marketing.
