Fake photo of Sarah Palin
I spend a lot of time critiquing Fox News, now it's MSNBC's turn. On Friday's "Morning Meeting," host Dylan Ratigan showed a photo of Sarah Palin holding a rifle and wearing an American flag bikini. The photo is a fake and yet Ratigan failed to mention that. Shocked I tell you - shocked.
Of course I don't watch "Morning Meeting," it sounds like an awful show, but fortunately I'm a subscriber to the conservative media watchdog Media Research Center's email list and they happily called out MSNBC for this "mistake."
MSNBC is the liberal version of Fox News, so I doubt this was an honest error. Not any more of an error than Sean Hannity showing video footage of the Beck's 9/12 rally and pretending it was Michele Bachmann's much smaller anti-health care reform gathering in DC.
Showing a fake photo of Sarah Palin in a bikini highlights the problem with cable news - it's rarely actually news, but rather one station trying to prove they're the most liberal or the most conservative of them all.
Quite frankly, it's boring.
The Media Research Center report on MSNBC sorry excuse for news, er commentary, whatever.
Here's the video of the MSNBC "report"
Snopes on the fake photo

MSNBC is famous for not doing their homework, and getting away with it. Thanks for poking them in the eye -- it's well deserved.
Sarah puts that body to shame!
the hate continues but still without substance!
You are all losers and foxnews haters. Get a life and join the fair and balanced network. Fox speaks the truth and that's a fact.
You're right "Jane M." Everyone here is all a bunch of losers because super smart people argue with slogans like "fair and balanced."
"Got milk?"
"Just do it."
"Where's the beef?"
If you think Fox News, or any cable news channel, is fair and balanced you're either extremely ignorant, just plain stupid or totally delusional.
If there's a god why does he make so many fools? Perhaps to try our patience?
MSNBC and Fox News are about as balanced as shotgun.
The BIG question is which end of their shotgun are you on?! :o
