Boston's Logan airport tips

Boston’s Logan International Airport is located in the East Boston area of Boston. Being one of the 20 busiest airports in the US and averaging over 25 million passengers a year it can be confusing and chaotic to people not familiar with the airport. However, MassPort, the government organization that manages Logan, does a great job keeping things easy.
Getting Around
The airport is separated into 4 terminals, A, B, C, and E. Yes, D is missing. It was removed in 2006 and its gates were renumbered into terminal C. More international flights originate out of Terminal E, while domestic take up A, B, and C. Of note in each is Continental and Delta in Terminal A, US airways and American in terminal B, and JetBlue and United Airlines in terminal C.
Transportation between the terminals can be completed by complimentary bus. There is also a moving walkway between Terminal A, the parking garage, and Terminal E. There is a beautiful 9/11 memorial that you can reach by following the Walkway to the Hilton hotel on the 2nd levels of Terminal’s A and E.
Be ready for security. Boston’s Logan Airport was involved directly in the September 11th attacks with 2 of the planes that hit the Towers coming from Logan. While security is tight you’ll rarely encounter a long wait time as its well organized with plenty of staffing.
Of special note to business travelers you can find banks of seats at every terminal labeled “Powered by Massport”, these seats have electrical outlets and powered USB ports.
Eating
There are a ton of places to eat in Logan Airport. In a later article we’ll go into more detail, but for now here is a basic rundown of some of my favorites:
Terminal A you’ll find Legal Test Kitchen (after security, so only available if you are getting a plane out of Terminal A) which is part of the Legal Seafood restaurants. If you aren’t into experimenting then you can skip over to the Legal C Bar, another Legal Seafood association with liquor and some menu items. In the Satellite section of Terminal A you’ll find Phillip’s Seafood Express.
In terminal B you’ll find Todd English’s Ozone-BOS before security and his Bonfire restaurant after security. There’s also UFood, a low-fat and no-fat restaurant.
Terminal C has “The Fudge Bar” with wickedly delicious chocolates and fudge. Grab and Go express offers good food quickly.  For a taste of the 50’s and 60’s go to Johnny Rocket’s for their delicious burgers.
Terminal E has The Dine Boston Bar & Grill before security with new and exciting guest chefs in charge. There’s also Houlihan's Restaurant.
