We're interviewing Howard Lefkowitz, President and CEO of Vegas.com at his corporate headquarters in Henderson, NV. about the strategic partnership between Aeromexico Airlines and his latest full-service travel site known as Mexico.com which officially launched today.
The launch of Mexico.com includes new daily non-stop service from Las Vegas to Mexico City and Monterrey. The new schedule brings 10 new flights weekly into and out of Las Vegas. This is great news for the economies of both Las Vegas and Mexico because there will be more revenue made possible in both directions and lots of cross-marketing opportunities.
New jobs have been created in Las Vegas to fill the demands of Aeromexico Airlines in this partnership which include a new full-time Aeromexico sales team, additional airport and airline personnel, and plans are underway to provide the Aeromexico passengers on-board opportunities to book their Las Vegas entertainment before they arrive in Vegas. We'll keep you posted as additional details are announced.
In attendance are top executives of Aeromexico Airlines including J. Antonio Meza-Compean, U.S. E-Commerce Manager ; representatives from the Mexican Consul General's Office; marketing, and public relations executives; and more media.
Mexico.com officially launched today and was created using the technology platform known as "Cyllenius." This innovative technology made it possible for Vegas.com to offer travellers billions of travel and entertainment booking combinations.
Over the last five years Vegas.com has grown exponentiallly through the development of new technology ,top-notch marketing practices, innovative leadership, and a satisfied-customer base which includes millions of Las Vegas visitors who have already used the Vegas.com site and services.
Creating Mexico.com has taken a few years and the level of this synergistic opportunity would not have been possible without the "Cyllenius" opertating platform.
According to Aeromexico US E-Commerce Manager, J. Antonio Meza-Compean, there is huge confidence in taking this level of business risk and investment due to the relationship developed with Vegas.com and their track record of success.
Meza-Compean told me that already at the Mexico.com site they're seeing a strong click through from cities such as Los Angeles and San Francisco which are also key target markets for Las Vegas. As you might imagine there will also be more celebration of this partnership by Aeromexico and we'll share the news with our readers as soon as we know more details.
