On Monday, February 22, 2010, I had the pleasure of attending the exclusive awards presentation in Miami Beach. This event was the 4th annual event for Sales & Customer Service. It was an evening of impressive international corporations and their employees receiving prestigious golden statues.
According to the founder of the The American Business Awards: The Stevies, Michael Gallagher, explained that the event will be available on Business Talk Radio on February 25, 2010, at 8pm. Also, he shared that there were entries from 50 countries and 192 business people attended from around the world as far away as Japan. Therefore, this event was truly a special time for many companies to shine. As a local resident, I am proud to say, Miami was represented as a winner with Royal Caribbean International Sales and Marketing Services Team for Sales Support Team of the Year category.
My favorite statement of the evening explained: "the engine of economic growth is building sales and keeping customers happy are the two ways to improve the economy.' As a former preliminary judge of 2009 for The Stevies, I feel this was a very exceptional group of international corporations that use innovation and hard work to surmount the unfavorable economic conditions. According to the Family Heritage Life Insurance Company slogan in Ohio, "service is our only product." This was my favorite slogan selection because it exemplifies the commitment to the customer concisely.
