Many struggling airlines lately are getting rid of their freebees, no more free peanuts, blankets or pillows for your trips. But for one airline freebees are just another reason why they are growing during a time when most of their competitors are not. Two companies are now partnering together to share their world class services to travelers in the sky.
Sun Country Airlines and Caribou Coffee are partnering up by offering free coffee to passengers on the airline’s flights. They started this new service yesterday, July 23rd. If you weren’t at the airport yesterday well then you missed Caribou’s mascot and CEO handing out free coffee outside of the Humphrey Terminal, now Terminal 2 of course.
This is a great idea for the two Minnesota companies. The marketing campaign will only strengthen the two companies who are at the top of their game already. The only question is will Starbucks Coffee fanatics boycott Sun Country flights, we all know that both coffee brewers have their own loyal followers.
