One thing that haunt events, such as Halloween Horror Nights and Howl O Scream are known for is the party atmosphere. The biggest reason is that most of the houses have huge "Conga lines" going through the houses. It's a necessary evil as the parks see a huge influx of people during these events and it's really the only way to get everyone through.

This year, however, Howl O Scream changes that with Alone. The official press release says "Alone is a unique, all-alone experience through the haunted house."

Alone in a haunted house. It's really quite an experience, but usually if you're alone in a house there really isn't much going on. This house is designed specifically for that purpose.

The official description:

The deranged Master Alexander Daedalus opened Minotaur Storage to house his vast collection of “cultural” remains. But now his sinister obsession with hoarding has expanded to stockpiling people. Escape this lunatic’s labyrinth or you will become part of his collection. Can you make it out ALONE?

The other thing that is unique about this house is that is an up charge house. What does that mean? Well once you have paid for your Howl O Scream admission, you have to pay to get into this house. This has a lot of fans whining, but really if you are offered a really unique experience, isn't it worth it? Plus I have confirmed with Busch Gardens, if you go there, do that, you get the T-Shirt. Literally. If you make it out of Alone, without yelling "uncle" you get a T-shirt as a badge of your bravery. But you have to do it alone.

"For the "chickens" out there, it also covers up to three friends for moral support" says Jill Revelle From Busch Gardens Tampa. Price is $34.95 at the park, or you can buy online and save $10.00.
