GREENVILLE, S.C. - July 15, 2010 - Once the home to the Greenville Braves and the Greenville Bombers, the old municipal stadium on Mauldin Road in Greenville County is slated for renovation into a new park facility.
On Wednesday, Greenville city leaders announced the four-field baseball complex that will feature nature trails and access to the Swamp Rabbit Trail and the Reedy River.
Currently unnamed, the park will cost approximately $4 million and will be paid for by the cities hospitality tax. Construction is set to be complete in July of 2011.
