A Miami native and life-long foodie, Bob's passions are cheeses, wines, and Latin American Baroque music. A trip to Napa in early 2003 lit a spark which resulted in an intense course of self-education about cheese and wine. Today, he participates in several wine education programs in Miami, as well as teaching cheese appreciation classes for the Italian Cultural Society. He is a regular fixture a local wine tastings, and has befriended a number of winemakers, both nationally and internationally. Value wines are a special passion, because the offer hidden gems from the wine world that are often as good as - if not better than - many of the cult wines so often touted as being best of breed.
