A great option for this coming weekend is to head on over to Disney's California Adventures Park to take part in their annual Food and Wine Festival. Which actually ends this coming weekend.
The best part about the Food and Wine Festival are the many free wine tastings, food tastings, and other samplings that allow anyone to learn about different kinds of foods and drinks. There are even some great whiskey, tequila, and beer tastings.
The food tastings are great with their many options of different types of cuisines. Some offer in various kinds of foods, while others vary by country. So you can get a taste of France, Morocco, Italy, or even Greece.
This is the perfect budget weekend option if you already have an annual pass to the Disney theme parks, but if you do not, then it could get a bit costly. A ticket to Disney's California Adventures is required for admittance. Parking will also cost some money. Although, if you have a pass without parking and would just like to attend one of the tastings, then you could park in Downtown Disney's lot which gives you 3 free hours of parking (5 if you get the parking ticket validated).
