Want to get out of town but can’t afford to go far? Not eager to brave the Cinco de Mayo crowds but still crave some excitement and festivities? The Hill Flea in Boulder could be the event for you.
Described as “an interactive marketplace and community edu-tainment playspace”, the Hill Flea is a flea market that also seeks to entertain and inform, with an emphasis on reuse and sustainability. Located on College Hill in Boulder, you can browse booths set up by vendors, artisans, and locals looking to clean out their garages.
This family-friendly event includes a children’s story hour and interactive artistic opportunities such as sidewalk chalk art. Kids will also want to see the live baby hens at Beyond Organic. There will be live performances by local musical artists Jaden and Leslie Kernochan. Workshops will be offered on gardening and life coaching.
