Most of us would love to jet off to Oktoberfest in Munich, or swing by a local celebration of fall beers, bratwurst, and  merriment but let's be realistic: sometimes our dwindling bank account tells us otherwise.

If you're trying to tighten your purse strings, but still want to enjoy the seasons best fermented offerings, then here's great news: below you'll find a list of over 20 great local fall beers all for just a few bucks. Included in the list are local brewers' creations by the bottle, on draft, and a few imports from the Fatherland.

Feel free to begin salivating now.

Great list of local beers. When I travel, the local brew is always the one to try.
