Once a year, the Junior League of Washington teams up with shops in Georgetown to sell discount cards to support the community programs that the Junior League puts on.
For $30, shoppers can buy a discount card that from April 25 until May 3 will give them 20% their entire purchase at select retailers. Retailers include Sherman Pickey, The Gap, National Jean Company, Kate Spade, J. McLaughlin, Red Door Spas, Vineyard Vines, Urban Chic, and Sugar.
There is certainly something for every budget in this list which makes it an opportune time to revamp your summer wardrobe. I don't know about y'all but living on Capitol Hill doesn't lead me to trek to Georgetown often when the stores I usually go to I can go to out in Pentagon City for less sales tax. This little card? Twenty percent off at Vineyard Vines? I'm pretty excited for this and who doesn't enjoy shopping for a good cause? I'm looking forward to getting out in Georgetown to enjoy some nice weather, and some great deals, because it looks like Vineyard Vines and The Gap, (two of my favorite stores) aren't excluding sale items...not that Vineyard Vines often has sale items.
100% of the proceeds support the Junior League's community programs. You can purchase discount cards here, and find the entire list of participating retailers here.
