Vienna Coffee. Photoxpress.com
Coffee can be a great late-night or early morning pick-me-up during a budgeting or meal-planning session. Home-brewed grounds are certainly a lot cheaper than that cup of cappuccino from the coffee shop, but once in a while we just need a little decadence. Vienna-style coffee is easy to make from ingredients that are generally on hand anyway and the very first sip transports us to a charming sidewalk cafe in Austria where we can relax and be as creative as we want to be--cooking is, after all, supposed to be fun.
