The week's best CVS deals: June 13 - 19, 2010

Bargain hunters should gather together their coupons and get ready for some good shopping -- the CVS deals for next week will let folks pay as much as 70% below retail prices, matched up to the right coupons.  The best of the best deals are covered in detail below.

All prices are good beginning Sunday, June 6, through Saturday, June 12, at all San Antonio-area CVS stores. If you're new to CVS shopping, make sure you read about their free Extra Care card and their coupon policies before setting out.

And make sure you check out the week's best Walgreens deals before finishing your grocery list.

Rolling your CVS deals -- a weekly scenario

Once again, you'll save far more of your hard-earned cash by splitting your CVS transactions into two (or more) purchases, and using the Extra Bucks generated in the first transaction to help pay for the second.  Here's a look at some of this week's possibilities.

CVS transaction #1:  Buy two Gillette or Old Spice body washes, plus the Gillette ProGlide razor, and a CoverGirl Amazemint lipstick.  After coupons, you'll pay $13.96 out of pocket, and you'll receive $12 worth of Extra Bucks to use on the next transaction.

CVS transaction #2: Buy two Sobe Lifewaters, two John Frieda hair care products, a box of Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches, and two Clorox disinfecting wipes.  After coupons and Extra Bucks, you'll pay 0 cents out of pocket.  That's right, all that good stuff is free -- plus you'll earn another $3 in Extra Bucks to use on your next trip to CVS.

Your total out of pocket?  Your mix of coupons and Extra Bucks let you pay $13.96 for $42.96 worth of purchases.  Now that's a great use of your grocery dollar!
