July 18th-19th is the second "Fee Free Weekend" for the National Park Service this summer. All national parks are offering free admission this weekend, and on August 15th-16th.

There are five national parks in Florida that normally charge a fee for admittance:

1. Canaveral National Seashore, includes Apollo Beach (just north of New Smyrna Beach), Klondike Beach, Playalinda Beach, and the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge

2. Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, the world-famous fort in St. Augustine, which is the oldest continuously occupied city in America

3. Dry Tortugas National Park, includes seven islands surrounded by coral reefs, and Fort Jefferson which is currently being restored

4. Everglades National Park, the "largest subtropical wilderness in the United States," and the third largest national park in the lower 48 states

5. Gulf Islands National Seashore, includes part of the Florida panhandle as well as part of Mississippi's coastline. The remnants of four forts used during the Civil War are part of Gulf Islands National Seashore.

The entire list of national parks offering free admittance this weekend can be found here. If you are lucky enough to be traveling this weekend, you can search the list by state.
