Just like Mother's Day a few weeks ago, many of Orlando's favorite attractions are offering deals for Dad this Father's Day. So, I've compiled a list of the top five places to take Dad for free. Forget the tie and drop that bottle of cologne; make a memory with Dad instead!
#2: Leu Gardens
What could be better than a picnic with the family in a peaceful setting? Treat Dad to a relaxing afternoon with the whole family at Leu Gardens. On June 21st, all fathers get in free from 9 am to 5 pm. Adult admission for all other adults is only $7, and kids under 12 are just $2 per child.
You can explore the butterfly garden and see how many different species you can spot. Or, wander around the garden house and look at some of the local art that is on display. Devote plenty of time ot the gardens themselves. Maybe you'll see some ideas for sprucing up your own yard.
If you plan on visiting check the weather forecast and prepare for severe weather if it is predicted. There are many shade trees, but be sure to apply sunscreen anyway. It's easy to lose track of time in a place as beautiful as Leu Gardens.
