Charlie Brown Christmas Story
According to the Morning Call's, Capitol Ideas, instead of looking at the Charlie Brown Christmas tree, kids will be looking at Barack Obama. Try explaining this one to kiddies all over the United States especially the one in your own household who loves Charlie Brown and was bobbing his head in the car yesterday to the theme by Vince Guaraldi. Anyhow, instead of hearing "Peace on earth good will towards men," children will be hearing, "We will deploying 30,000 men."
I don't think that this is some sinister plot though to remove the Christmas story from the airwaves. Is the Obama administration really that smart? No, but his approval rating will go down lower than it is. First the Grinch says he won't deploy troops, now at Christmas time he is. Is he trying to boost ratings.
"Your a foul one Mr. Grinch. Your hearts an empty hole." Let's all send Obama the Grinch coal for Christmas.

That first Charlie Brown was a sheep
A Charlie Brown Christmas runs about 3-4 times between Thanksgiving and Christmas every year, so pre-empting one showing isn't going to permanently damage the nation's children. My 4 and 7 yr-old will be happy to see Obama instead of Snoopy, they love our President. And as noted, it's Vince Guaraldi, not Garabaldi.
Only someone who lives and breathes liberal politics would rather watch this president over Charlie Brown's Christmas. If he would have made a decision on Afghanistan a while back, regular folks might have cared. Now we just want him to get on with it.
I voted for Obama, I campaigned for Obama, and I support most of what he's doing, but I'm not happy about the war escalation. Not happy at all. (And I'd rather see CB, too.)
Anyone who can judge someones accomplishments after 10 months should work on opening up their closed,, straight, and narrow minds. That way you don't have to watch either. And no I'm not living and breathing hardcore liberal politics either plh.

for those of us who only have basic cable and free over-the-air television with a converter box, these holiday specials are far and few in-between and VERY special to our kids (just as they were to me when I was growing up). As far as I know, they will only be shown AGAIN on their partner stations like ABC FAMILY or NICK or LIFETIME or TLC. And yes, we could go buy the DVD but after seeing it on the tv schedule AND hearing it advertised on the radio (at 6 PM the night of the show), it was just a big disappointment. I hope ABC does plan to re-schedule before Christmas.
Tis the season to be jolly....and stop blaming the President for everything....where were you when YOUR GUY was in office and really muffed things up around the world...I bet you had an excuse for his entire term in office and all of the bad decisions that his administration made that now requires the immediate attention of our current president.
Liberals are such scumbags. After eight years of blaming Bush for EVERYTHING, including THE WEATHER, even going so far as to pretend that all eight years under Bush were Hell when it was really just the last two years WHEN DEMOCRATS CONTROLLED CONGRESS... NOW they are all upset about us criticizing Obama?!?! The economy really went south when the ACORN-INDUCED HOUSING CRISIS FINALLY HIT, you know, the housing crisis which John McCain attempted to avert but was called "racist" by all of the filthy, treasonous Democrats in Congress. I'm not saying that the Republicans deserve our support, but anyone who still supports the Democrats at this point is either an ignoramus, a moron, or a traitor who wants America to be destroyed.

It is quite ironic that "Can't believe it" insists that we stop blaming Obama for stuff that's actually his fault while he/she/it continues to blame Bush for everything bad that happened in his eight years, and even claim that the first six years of Bush were bad, when it was really only the last two years. I guess we SHOULD blame everything on the president when he has an "R" after his name, but we should NOT say anything critical about the president when he has a "D" after his name.

Even young kids of 5 and 8 can see through an egotistical dictator who talks incessantly about himself. "His smugness" was too busy to visit the injured from the Ft. Hood shooting. Pres. GW Bush and Mrs. Bush were at the hospital the day after!
Does BO remind you, "Do the research" person, of someone else in the last 60-plus years? The similarities are endless, and any research driven, true inquirer would see how much these two are alike and how they operate---in and out of the public view! Like the bumper sticker says, "Kenya Needs Its Marxist Back".
