Fox News is now in the cross hairs of the White House. Formerly, Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck had taken punches from the White House communications office but now the network is being cited. In an article on Yahoo.com, White House Communications Director Anita Dunn has singled out Fox News as being anti-Barack Obama. Dunn came out with these allegations on CNN, in Time Magazine, and in the New York Times.
Dunn also said that they are going to treat Fox News as they treat any opponent. She also said that we do not need to treat them as a "legitimate news organization." Is there really any power in what Ms. Dunn says?
The question is, "Is Fox News telling the truth?" A network really does not need to manufacture any fodder on the President's mishaps. Health Care is going down. The President failed on his attempt to gain Chicago the 2016 Olympics. Obama is terrible on foreign affairs with the situations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
As for Obama's spin doctors, they have made another major faux pas. In political communications, you do not hammer the press. They can make or break you. Second, you do not go on the defensive and name your opponent. They probably just have boosted the ratings of their enemy. Like when Congressman Joe Wilson was targeted when he said that Obama lied. Wilson's funding went up.
It is not surprising though that Obama's Communication office is messing up again . That is all they have been doing since January 20, 2009. Puffing up inauguration numbers and Gibbs leading a circus every time there is a White House Press Conference. With this type of intelligence as it's opponent, Fox News need not beware.
