The Tea Party on Saturday drew a crowd of over 1,000 people to the Pennsylvania Capitol in the middle of nowhere. Most are very angry about last Saturday's house vote to approve healthcare legislation. They are also upset about Cap and Trade, and the Socialistic leanings of the new administration.
Diana Reimer, organizer of the event and citizen lobbyist was thrilled with the turnout. "Still, all people must act," said Reimer, "People must continue to flooding the emails and the fax machines of Congress. Especially now of their US Senators." Healthcare legislation now goes to the Senate for a vote. Another Tea Party will be held next Sunday in Philadelphia at Love Park. The Spirit of 1776 goes on.
