Healthcare: Four times it was already decided

No, this did not just happen because of the current legislation.  This was all settled in 1925.  In Linder vs. the United States of America (no relation) decided on April 13, 1925 said that the government cannot mandate healthcare.  The court said that the "direct control of medical practice is beyond the power of the federal government.

Also in 1926, the court said in Lamber vs. Yellow that, "Congress, therefore cannot directly restrict the professional judgment of the physician or interfere with its free exercise in the treatment of disease."  Similar judgements were made more recently in 2004 and 2002.   More info can be found in Barbara Espinosa's blog on the American Freedom page.

So this is all settled right? NOT!  Two groups of people called US Representatives and Senators who are supposed to know the law think that they are above it.  They don't read bills but have they read Supreme Court rulings.  This legislation should have been stopped at it's inception.

America does not want healthcare at 38% approval rating of this legislation. Mary Landrieu all ready received 300 million dollars when she prostituted her vote.  People were turned into the White House "fish list."  Tea parties galore and the Senate still wants to go on with it's charades.  They are wasting taxpayers money all so the Supreme Court can turn this down a fifth time.

Either way, this legislation has to be annihlated.  Should Congress drag this out or make things easy.  The American public is begging, "Vote this down now!"
