Cowher09.com closing in on 10,000 signatures

If you have not heard of www.cowher09.com than you're probably in the minority. The site is a living and breathing petition to Browns owner Randy Lerner to get Bill Cowher into Cleveland and reignite a winning tradition.

The website that started out as a sort of cult following for disgruntled Browns fans is now starting to be a sort of powerhouse. If you attend any Browns game, read any forum, or watch the Brownies on television, you will most likely hear the chants or see the T-shirts.

If you go to the site you'll see that it is closing in on 10,000 signatures and growing.

We'll see if the wishes of so many comes true with the hiring of Bill Cowher. Nonetheless, you can give credit to Cowher09.com for keeping the cause relevant and pressing.

Aaron, I'll have to confess here to being a Steelers fan. *don't hit me* So of course anyone with moustache and a prominent chin has a place in my heart. well, at the risk of perpetuating a rumor, a caller to a local (Columbus) radio sports show (Mark the Shark on WTDE FM) claimed that his close friend is a scout for the Browns, and the Cowher visited the team facility recently then bought a house in Strongsville, Ohio.

I just think it's suspicious that with the money that may or may not be happening here there are much better neighborhoods than Strongsville much closer to the Browns facilities. Therefore I take this point of view: post-gazette.com/pg/08334/931851-367.stm

Thanks Andy, no harm, Hating the Steelers is something I was born to do. Yet, as a sports fan I have a respect for thier organization. Since the 70s they have been one of the most consistent in sports. I've also heard this rumor as well. Hey, anything is possible.

What?!?!?! No Cowher! He was originally a Cleveland Browns coach in the 80's..He is a Steeler through and through. I don't want to hear any Pittsburgh crap about us winning cause we got the steelers coach.
