Prince William and Prince Harry have asked the Queen if they can also do their own Christmas message next year. They want to direct their comments at British troops serving away from the UK. The brothers also took part in the annual Royals vs. Locals soccer match on Christmas Eve.
Kate Middleton was invited to join the Queen at her pre-Christmas Buckingham Palace lunch for those not invited to Sandringham, but Kate and William declined by mutual agreement. They reportedly felt that there would be too much media attention, thus detracting from the occasion for other attendees.
Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy are planning a get-together in Chelsy's South African homeland this summer.
