Talk About Your Goals
Discuss your style and ideas before the shoot. Make sure your photographer, makeup artist and you are on the same page! we often have new ideas for the sessions at the last minute but do not go for any style you are not comfortable with.
Some Dos And Don’ts for your boudoir photo session:
Do visit your hair-dresser and have your hair looking fantastic when you arrive.
Do visit a beautician and treat yourself to a manicure etc.
Do wear loose comfortable clothing.
Do bring a robe or large blouse/shirt to wear between being photographed. This may make you more comfortable.
Do bring several changes of lingerie and any props you may wish to use.
Do have someone bring and collect you from your boudoir session. You’ll feel less inhibited without having friends or family watching you or worse attempting to get involved telling you what to do. However having someone know exactly where you are will help you feel more comfortable.
Do not wear underwear that will leave marks on your skin especially if you intend to pose nude. This is especially important for bras that can leave marks around the back and shoulders. These take a long time to subside.
Do not apply make-up unless you prefer to use your personal make-up artist beforehand.
