Brenda Song is set to star in Columbia Pictures upcoming feature film, The Social Network . The film is directed by Academy-Award nominated director David Fincher, written by Aaron Sorkin and will initially have 'six principle main characters'. The film was previously known as ''Facebook: The Movie'', the production is a film adaptation of Ben Mezrich's critically acclaimed novel The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal.
Song along with Armie Hammer, Max Minghella, Rooney Mara and Dakota Johnson are the latest young actors to join the film. The first actors announced to be involved in the adaptation are Jesse Einberg, Justin Timberlake and Andrew Garfield as Mark Zuckerberg, Sean Parker and Eduardo Saverin respectively.
Timberlake recently talked about the project, ''to be honest David Fincher is so ridiculously genius, we’re all just following his lead. I think we want to tell the story, and I want to tell it through [Aaron] Sorkin’s words and Fincher’s eyes.'' Adding, ''I think Aaron did a lot of research on all of it. I don’t want to speak for another actor, but I think the consensus for all of us is that we just want to make a great film.”
Yesterday, several young actors under the age of 30 were confirmed to be the part of the ensemble cast. The film is produced by Academy-Award winning producer Scott Rudin, Emmy/Golden Globe nominated producer Kevin Spacey and Michael De Luca.
