Bump Urban Maternity Wear in Seattle and Bellevue carries a fashionable hands-free breast-pumping bra called the PumpEase, created by Coquitlam mompreneur Wendy Armbruster Bell of Snugabell Mom & Baby Care. The PumpEase is the main product of Snugabell. The bra sells in 11 countries and sales revenues are expected to top $250,000 this year.
The PumpEase bra "allows women to pump breast milk in style while cooking, driving, reading e-mails, shopping online or simply relaxing." The bra is guaranteed to work with every pump on the market. In addition to having her hands free, Bell wanted to give her daughters the benefits of breast milk while allowing her husband to bond with the babies through feeding them.
Snugabell will donate $2 from the online sale of every PumpEase to the Best for Babes Foundation, which recently released a unique ad campaign, "The miracle isn't the bra."
