Some researchers in Germany, Oliver and Valnetin, have excited the forums with their announcement of being able to self-run a 1000-watt generator from the HHO gas generated from their electrolysis process. So the electrolysis unit produces HHO gas which runs a genset (an engine connected to an alternator that produces electricity), and the electricity produced then runs the electrolysis unit.
And this is despite the fact that the genset is highly inefficient.
The system is not yet stable, nor are the results conclusive, but the preliminary results look promising. The video they posted on Apr. 24 shows this system running for 40 seconds – certainly not long enough to be proof of a long-term, self-running capability, but long enough to get the excitement going. My brother points out, for example, that there could be enough gas stored in the system to run it for 40 seconds, along with new gas being generated on the fly.
If there is excess energy coming into the system, it is apparently somehow being generated freely from the environment via their electrolysis (HHO-generating) process.

Just think of how this sytem might work using a highly efficient engine like Morgado's MYT engine. There might even be energy left over for powering other stuff, turning this into a base load generator system.

In my opinion you should have waited until a real confirmation of a self-looped system was there.
they only ran it for 40 seconds in which the energy contained in the system could have been used up so no self-looping.

having built many cells like this (called the dry cell or Terro cell) there is no way they could maintain a continuos running of a motor. Lets see the figures
It's another fail. Self-sustaining means just that. Take two identical batteries. Charge both fully. Put one in these guy's rig. Perform run-down tests running whatever load suits your fancy with each. Recharge the batteries, swap and repeat the rundown test. The raw battery out lasts the battery in the rig every time.
