This past weekend, a major fraud was uncovered regarding the politicizing of "global warming" for the purpose of promoting increased world government regulation such as the global carbon tax. The email database of some of the chief climatologists was hacked into and the emails posted on the web for anyone to see.
Major news organizations have confirmed that the emails are real.
In the dialogue between some of these "climatologists" are shown blatant disregard for science while employing tactics of manipulation of the media and public perceptions to believe that global warming is man-made and that drastic measures must be taken to stem this warming, when in fact the hard scientific data shows that the planet has actually been cooling in the past four years, and that the warming-cooling cycles are largely a function of the sun. These climatologists knew better and are shown scheming with each other to twist the facts, cook the data, persecute the honest scientists.
It is exposed as blatant fraud, hopefully undermining the drive to establish the global carbon tax as a way to attack free enterprise.
Of course this it not to say that man should not be wise stewards of the environment, but it does go to show how governments and their handlers should not be trusted to be impartial when it comes to increasing their hold over the public.

You've got to be kidding. Take bits and pieces out of emails as proof, and out of context to boot? I read the evidence against it on some site awhile back. The author proceeded to prove it, saying it was "Minor" and then neglected just how major a problem it was, even with his lessened proof. I'll be the first to admit I don't know what's going on. But this kind of stuff is just false and manipulative. Get some real proof.
I don't know what planet you live on but I am 64 and live in Maine and as a young boy I remember well much colder weather starting much earlier than what we have now. I suppose you don't think the polar ice is melting either that's all make believe too. You must be heavy into oil or just plan retarded or better yet I truely believe it is just a way for you to make some extra money. Fact is it is warmer and we are speeding up a natural process. I do agree about goverment and trust, better put they can't be trusted at all and yet people in general are just to busy in their own little word. Whether climate change is caused by man or not is irrelevant. I can't fathom why anyone would oppose scientific progress that needs to be made in the way we get energy. We need a catalyst to start the shift somehow, whether it be cap and trade, federal incentives, etc. This is just another issue created by our inability to see oil as a finite resource.

Hallelujah, finally the truth comes out. Lord Monckton exposed it already somewhat earlier. This doesn't mean that we have to clean up our act, and modernize our antiquated energy generation technologies, but it DOES mean that government won't be able to use this pseudo-science to squeeze more and more money out all of us. The line that the emails are taken out of context is a joke. Were the comments in the code taken out of context too?
Quit talking about AWG. Don't even mention carbon dioxide or taxing it and you will get taken seriously. Start pushing resource efficiency like rmi.org has been doing for decades. Not just the mantra of CO2, CO2, CO2.
Start talking about the mercury coming out of coal plants (40 tons a year in North America), garbage incineration (35 tons) and keep in mind that North America isn't that bad compared to the far east or Africa! I found on the web the compressed files containing all the eMail of prof jones. This compressed file also contains programs. More precisely Prolog routines.
