I figured out already what I am going to give Manny Pacquiao on his 32nd birthday come Dec. 18.

He likes to wear hats, including that stingy brim Sinatra number, and it's hard to keep up with his many roles, world champion fighter and top moneyearner in the sport, singer and aspiring politician running for Congress from Sarangani province.
Now comes word that his upcoming Honolulu concert has been canceled as a mere 603 tickets were sold for a venue seating about 8,000.
What bright light got the idea in Hawaii that so many people would pay money to hear Pacman sing?

Here's the Honolul Advertiser newsbreak:
"(Promoter) Ryan Chang said as of noon today only 603 tickets had been sold for "Manny Pacquiao Live In Hawaii Concert Celebration."
"The Shell holds about 8,500 people and we only needed to sell about 2,500 tickets to break even and we would have been happy," Chang said. "But I can't risk losing that much of our investors' money on walkups and late sales this week. A good walkup is about 500 people. As it stands I'll be taking about a $50,000 loss."
Tickets were reasonably priced at $25, I mean come on, I spend that much on cat food every day.
Guess the good folks in Hawaii don't have a musical reverence for Pacman like they did Don 'Tiny Bubbles" Ho if you know what I mean, Shaved Ice Breath.

Can't blame Manny for being adept at a lot of things. Aside from being the best boxer on the planet, he is into crossover stuff including politics and showbiz. I hope he slows down and finds himself and his family some solace for two months, without the usual hangers-on bothering him.
Except for the singing and going into politics which are not exactly his strong suits. His singing voice may improve and might get to master some musical instruments; I'd be impressed.
